The AI supplement scanner that checks doses, not vibes

Most food scanner apps skip supplements entirely. Labelly photographs the supplement facts panel and compares every vitamin and mineral dose with the official safety limits that actually exist.

What a scan tells you

The elemental zinc problem, solved. A zinc label can print "Zinc Picolinate 41.7 mg" and "Total Zinc Compounds 96.3 mg" beside "Providing Elemental Zinc 25 mg". The compound weights are chemistry, not dose. Labelly scores the elemental 25 mg, the amount your body actually receives, against the official zinc ceiling.

High %NRV is not the enemy

Reference values are set low. Vitamin D’s NRV is half of what the NHS actually recommends every day, so a bottle showing 200% NRV can be exactly right. Labelly never punishes a high percentage by itself. Only crossing a real safety ceiling moves the score.

Honest where no reference exists

Pre-workout blends, collagen, herbal extracts: for most of these no official reference intake exists anywhere. Labelly analyses the full label, additives, sweeteners, proprietary blend transparency, and tells you plainly why there is no number. A score requires an authority to score against. Facts don’t.

Labelly reads what’s on the label. It doesn’t give medical or dosage advice. Talk to a pharmacist or your GP about supplements. See also: the dog & cat food scanner.
